Virat Roadlines (VRL) Packers and Movers provides household shifting, domestic relocation, office relocation, car transportation and two-wheeler transportation services, subject to service availability and the terms agreed with the customer.

Before confirming a booking, customers are encouraged to review the quotation, scope of work, estimated charges, payment requirements and applicable service conditions.

2. Booking Confirmation

A moving booking may be considered confirmed when the customer has accepted the applicable quotation or service terms and, where required, paid the agreed booking amount or advance payment.

The applicable booking conditions may vary depending on the type of relocation, moving date, distance, vehicle requirement, packing requirement and other services included in the quotation.

3. Cancellation by the Customer

A customer who wishes to cancel a confirmed moving service should contact VRL Packers and Movers as soon as possible using the phone number, WhatsApp contact or other communication channel provided during booking.

Cancellation requests should preferably be made before packing, loading, transportation or other booked services have started.

The applicable refund or cancellation adjustment will be determined based on the stage of the booking, services already performed, expenses already incurred and the specific terms communicated in the customer’s quotation or booking confirmation.

4. Cancellation Before Service Begins

If a customer requests cancellation before the scheduled service begins, VRL will review the booking and determine whether any amount is refundable after considering the applicable booking terms and costs already incurred.

Where a quotation or booking confirmation specifically states a cancellation charge or non-refundable amount, that condition may apply to the booking.

5. Cancellation After Packing or Loading

If packing, loading, vehicle allocation, transportation preparation or another booked service has already started, cancellation may result in charges or deductions corresponding to services already performed and reasonable costs already incurred.

Any applicable adjustment will be communicated based on the customer’s booking terms and the actual stage of service.

6. Rescheduling a Moving Date

Customers may contact VRL to request a change to the scheduled moving date. Rescheduling is subject to vehicle availability, crew availability, operational requirements and the revised service schedule.

A rescheduling request should be submitted as early as possible. Additional charges may apply where the change creates additional transportation, labour, storage, waiting or other service costs.

7. Advance Payments

Where an advance payment has been collected, its treatment following cancellation will depend on the agreed quotation, booking terms, services already performed and costs incurred for the booking.

Customers should review the payment and cancellation conditions provided with their quotation or booking confirmation before making payment.

8. Refund Eligibility

Where a refund is applicable, VRL will determine the refundable amount after reviewing the customer’s booking and applicable service terms.

Depending on the circumstances, amounts already incurred for completed services, packing materials, labour, transportation arrangements, cancellation charges or other agreed costs may be deducted where permitted by the applicable booking terms and law.

No fixed percentage or automatic refund amount should be assumed unless it is specifically stated in the customer’s quotation, invoice or booking confirmation.

9. Services Already Completed

Charges relating to services that have already been completed generally cannot be treated as a cancellation of an unperformed service.

For example, where packing, loading, transportation or another agreed service has already been performed, the applicable amount will be reviewed according to the booking terms and actual services provided.

10. Cancellation by VRL

In circumstances where VRL is unable to provide the booked service, VRL will communicate with the customer and discuss the available options based on the circumstances and applicable booking terms.

Where a refund is applicable because a service cannot be provided, the refundable amount will be determined according to the applicable quotation, payment terms and circumstances of the booking.

11. Delays, Access Problems and Circumstances Beyond Reasonable Control

Moving schedules can sometimes be affected by circumstances outside the reasonable control of the service provider, including severe weather, road restrictions, traffic conditions, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, natural events, strikes or other operational circumstances.

Where such circumstances affect a booking, VRL may communicate with the customer regarding rescheduling or other practical arrangements.

12. Customer-Initiated Changes

Changes to the pickup location, destination, moving date, inventory, property access, vehicle requirement, packing requirement or other important booking details may affect the quoted price or service availability.

Customers should communicate such changes to VRL before the scheduled service whenever possible.

13. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved, VRL will communicate the applicable refund amount and payment process to the customer.

The time required for a refund to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment method, banking institution, payment service provider and applicable processing procedures.

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
