Any online quotation, telephone estimate or preliminary price provided by VRL is based on the information supplied by the customer at the time of enquiry.
The final price may depend on factors including the actual quantity or volume of goods, packing requirements, pickup and delivery locations, distance, floor level, lift availability, accessibility, vehicle requirements, additional services and other conditions affecting the move.
Where the actual requirements differ materially from the information supplied by the customer, VRL may revise the quotation or discuss additional charges before proceeding with the affected service.
4. Customer Information and Accuracy
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information relating to the move, including:
- Correct name and contact details
- Pickup and delivery addresses
- Preferred moving date
- Type and approximate quantity of goods
- Property and access information

5. Packing and Preparation
Where packing services are included in the booking, the packing process will be carried out according to the agreed scope of service and the nature of the goods.
Customers should inform VRL in advance about fragile, valuable, delicate, oversized or specially handled items so that appropriate arrangements can be discussed.
The customer should not include prohibited or restricted goods in the shipment. Personal documents, cash, jewellery, highly valuable items and other sensitive possessions should be handled according to applicable law and the specific written arrangements agreed for the move.
6. Restricted and Prohibited Items
Customers must not tender goods for transportation that are prohibited by applicable law or that VRL has expressly declined to transport.
Depending on applicable law and the service arrangement, restricted or prohibited items may include hazardous materials, explosives, illegal substances, weapons, flammable materials, certain chemicals, perishable goods and other items requiring special regulatory authorization.
If you are unsure whether an item can be transported, contact VRL before packing or handing over the item.
7. Loading, Unloading and Access
The customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding building access, floor level, lift availability, parking restrictions, narrow entrances, stairs and other conditions that may affect loading or unloading.
Additional work, waiting time, special handling or access-related requirements may affect the service price where such circumstances were not included in the original quotation.
8. Transportation and Delivery
Transportation schedules are planned based on the agreed route, service requirements, vehicle availability, traffic conditions, weather, road conditions and other circumstances that may affect transportation.
Any delivery date or transit period communicated by VRL should be understood in the context of the agreed service and available transportation conditions unless a specific written commitment states otherwise.
VRL may use appropriate vehicles, personnel or transportation arrangements necessary to provide the agreed service, subject to availability and applicable requirements.
9. Car and Two-Wheeler Transportation
For vehicle transportation, the customer must provide accurate vehicle information and disclose any existing damage or relevant condition before handover.
The customer should remove personal belongings and unauthorized items from the vehicle before transportation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Vehicle transportation is subject to the agreed service, route, documentation and applicable legal requirements.

Where additional services or circumstances result in additional charges, those charges may be discussed with the customer before the additional work is undertaken where reasonably practicable.
Applicable taxes, statutory charges or other charges, where applicable, will be handled according to the applicable quotation and law.
12. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Customers should notify VRL as early as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule a booking.
Cancellation, rescheduling, refund or applicable charges will depend on the stage of the booking, work already performed, materials purchased, transportation arrangements and the specific terms communicated at the time of booking.
Any refund, where applicable, will be processed according to the agreed booking terms and applicable law.
13. Damage, Loss and Claims
VRL takes reasonable care in handling goods within the scope of the agreed service. However, the nature of relocation and transportation may involve risks associated with handling, loading, unloading, road transportation and other circumstances.
Customers should inspect goods at the time of delivery where reasonably possible and notify VRL promptly of any apparent loss, damage or shortage.
Any claim will be assessed according to the applicable booking documents, declared value, service terms, available records, applicable insurance arrangements and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
14. Insurance and Transit Protection
Where transit insurance or another protection option is available, the applicable coverage, premium, exclusions, declared value, documentation and claim procedure will be subject to the relevant insurance or service terms.
Customers should ask VRL about available insurance or protection options before confirming the booking if such coverage is required.
15. Delays and Circumstances Beyond Reasonable Control
Moving and transportation schedules can be affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, traffic restrictions, road closures, accidents, government restrictions, strikes, natural events, public emergencies, vehicle breakdowns and other unforeseen circumstances.
Where such circumstances affect a scheduled move, VRL will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer and coordinate an appropriate alternative arrangement.
